EXTRA

About Us

The AYSO EXTRA Program is the Regions next level of “Player Development” from the main core program that offers selected players a more competitive environment.  The Regions's Extra program was developed for 9U through 14U players with advanced soccer skills, allowing them to compete at a higher level of play. These AYSO programs recognize the needs of the more competitive player.

Many participating AYSO regions will have EXTRA Teams in 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U thru 14U brackets. Players participating in the Region's EXTRA Program will compete in league play against EXTRA teams from other regions. While most EXTRA games will be played within Area E (Northern Orange County), a few games may be played outside of Area E (Southern Orange County). During the fall season games will be played from September to January with most games scheduled for Saturdays.  Teams will also be given the option of playing a more limited "Spring" session.
